"We stayed for 2 nights in the Bierhaeusle Hotel, check-in was automated, simple and efficient. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet.
The adjoining restaurant is family run and offers a substantial breakfast and authentic, delicious, wonderfully presented, good value evening meals.
The hotel is perfectly located for hiking, cycling and sightseeing in the Black Forest region.

"We asked at the door if we could come in for a drink as it looked like a lovely venue. The lady at the front was very friendly and showed us through to the bar, where we were seated at a restaurant table. We then changed to an incredibly rude waitress, who was cold towards us from the start, and was very angry when we said we were only there for drinks. She also refused a tip when we tried to add service to the bill. We were made to feel very unwelcome - wish we hadn’t bothered!"

"Everything about this hotel is as it should be. Rooms are functional and comfortable, although maybe a little old fashioned. Breakfast is good. Enough parking opportunities. Allowing smoking on the balconies means that it was necessary to sleep with a closed window and this should be reconsidered."
