"Our experience at Chairs was exceptional! The restaurant is a 10-15 minute taxi away from the centre of Frankfurt but so worth the visit. We opted for the four course tasting menu with the wine pairing. This came with lots of additional tasters throughout. The dishes were all seasonal and had an incredible depth of flavour. There is a big use of fermented or pickled elements that made everything so tangy and made even the richest dishes feel light. My absolute favourite part of the meal was the sourdough ice cream for dessert. It is a must try, it’s sweet and salty and crunchy and smooth, just perfection!
We are an english speaking couple and the staff were so great at accommodating us. This was also tricky as the wine pairing required lots of technical language, but they did such a great job. The wine was beautifully paired, every single one was delicious. Chairs also has a really relaxed atmosphere, the staff are friendly and laid back and it’s not too dressy or showy. You could absolutely wear jeans and t shirt here and not feel underdressed.
I couldn’t recommend Chairs enough, if you are in Frankfurt it is a must. The food is delicious and for the food quality and service that you receive the cost is so worth it."
