As a side note, we saw another popular ramen shop called Naniwa that is supposed to be delicious as well, though less traditional. We would have tried it, except they don't allow dogs. We were also so pleased with Takumi, that we didn't feel the need.

If you are staying more in the Dusseldorf city center, and are short on time, there is a great new sushi store called Natsu. Natsu offers contemporary takes on traditional sushi set inside one of the newest supermarket complexes in Dusseldorf.

In fact, there are 2 Naniwa restaurants, both located across each other. One is called Noodle & Soups and the other focuses on sushi. Naniwa Noodles & Soups is a small restaurant that opened its doors more than 20 years ago in Düsseldorf.

Ebenso bekannt wie das Takumi ist in Düsseldorf auch das Naniwa. Das zeigt auch die lange Schlange, die sich täglich vor dem Restaurant bildet. Hier bekommt ihr leckere japanische Ramen mit einer sehr guten Brühe.

Das NaNiWa ist die erste Ramenbar, die ich besucht habe und ich glaube sogar, es ist die erste in Düsseldorf. Seit 2000 bin ich mindesten 2x im Monat dort. Trotzdem versuche ich objektiv zu bleiben.
