What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dinette is praised for its delicious food, especially the flammkuchen and brunch options. Diners highlight the friendly and hospitable service, with many mentioning English-speaking staff. While some reviews note that prices might be on the higher side, the generous portion sizes and overall quality often justify the cost. A few minor issues like overcooked salmon or halloumi texture were mentioned, but the positive experiences generally outweigh these concerns.
"The restaurant is located in the city center of Aachen, just some meters away from the Cathedral. It was clean and tidy. Very friendly staff, very good English spoken and fast service. I tried the Vegetarian Risotto with Parmesan Cheese, it was tasty and in a good quantity. A nice restaurant to try in the center of Aachen."
Sergio Fernández Calderón
"This place has two street frontages in busy inner city location and the decor is beach house. Our flammenkuchen had perfectly light pastry and my partner lived his pork medallions. My roast salmon was a bit over cooked. The service was fast but somehow disconnected."
Malcolm Goodall
"The halloumi was a bit like rubber but otherwise the food was pretty decent. Excellent service. Deserve 4 stars but for the cheese. Will be very happy to return here and I do recommend a visit"

Dinette – Known for their flambée (an Alsatian flatbread), this resto has a solid menu with a range of options for vegetarians as well. But what really stood out was the beaut ambiance and genuine service. We had one of the best servers I’ve ever met: originally from the Dominican Republic, Melaquiel was knowledgeable, hilarious and incredibly hospitable.
