"I'm leaving my original review below. Despite my promise never to go back, I ended returning to Geppos. We sat inside and didn't use valet parking so I cannot update that part of the previous review.
Indoors, service was much better and very attentive. Food continues to be a bit overpriced but quality was significantly better. We all had pizzas and although I have had better elsewhere, they were very good and tasty. I would go back here but it's not my top destination for Italian food in Fortaleza.

We were very disappointed in our visit to Geppo's. Although this restaurant has a good reputation with the locals, it was underwhelming at best.
It started with the valet parking, which was good in the way in but extremely confusing in the way out, with multiple cars parked in the drop-off area, which made the situation impossible for people in wheelchairs or baby strollers.
Service was slow and tended to disappear for long periods. One of the appetizers was quite good (the tapioca sticks) but they tended to be overpriced. For the main orders, they were expensive and not very well done. My filet with Gorgonzola sauce was barely passable. The pizza that our party orderer look like something you coould get from the frozen section in a good Kroger supermarket. In comparison to other Italian restaurants in town like Cantina di Napoli and La Pasta Gialla, the quality of the food at Geppos was significantly inferior.
This is a place I would not recommend to anyone and I will not be going back."
