They Said Books is an English-language bookshop and a cafe where you can pop in, browse the bookshelves on the ground floor, and sit down for a cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast. The cafe space is small but has a few tables both inside and outside on the pavement. The menu is extensive, with all-day-breakfast meals, soups, toasts, main courses, and salads, to name a few.

This trendy coffee shop sits just above one of the best bookshops in the city and the literary theme runs into the cafe too with its large selection of global luxury style magazines. The coffee is slightly overpriced compared to some of the city’s more impressive coffee shops, but if you’re in the area it’s still worth a visit. Opening hours: 10am to 8pm
