"Loved our time there. The host was super helpful!
Great drinks menu and food. I do recommend a reservation! We got two of the flammkuchen / tarte flambée (order them one by one!) - the pork and the bacon as far as I remember. Loved my grape juice beer!"

"Lack of hygiene by the staff and impolite service!
We made a reservation and were seated next to the kitchen so we had a good visual of how they prepared the food. First of all they reused the same wooden plates without cleaning them properly with soap, they just removed the remaining food. So, basically all people eat from the same plates continuously which is a health hazard!
The waiter helped in the kitchen by adding arugula and other ingredients on top of the tartes but he didn't wash his hands properly even though he touched everything previously. To top it all, the waiter sneezed on his hands, touched his nose and then continued adding arugula on food.
Also, the waiter looked polite however even though we spoke french he insisted in responding in English. This is quite impolite and a bit racist behavior towards non french people.
The restaurant is quite small but has a nice atmosphere with laid back vibes which is nice.
If hygiene existed in this restaurant then I would suggest it, however it's not acceptable to prepare food this way and restaurants like these are a health hazard and should be closed!"

Lunch at: Binchstub, to experience the Alsatian speciality Flammkuchen. Or you may know it better as tarte flambée. Similar looking to a pizza, thin bread dough is covered with cheese or crème fraiche, thinly sliced onions and lardons, and cooked in a wood-fired oven.
