What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wood la cantine gourmande is celebrated for its inventive yet traditional cuisine, fresh local ingredients, and a delightful dining experience on its spacious terrace. While most reviews highlight excellent food, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere, some mention occasional delays with reservations and limited English menu availability.
"Very original food. We had the burrata and it came with a verveine sorbet. So refreshing and tasty. Everything we ate came recommended by our lovely waitress, Margot. Our main was pork and dessert was a crumble. The restaurant is mainly outside seating which, with the breezy night, added to the romanticism. Highly recommend!"
Andrea Arango
"The place is so nice. Tasty food with an amazing presentation. The desserts were not as good as the main dishes, but they were fine. The staff were friendly."
Dorian Sweidy
"As the placed is highly recommended, it is advised to book a table in advanced. However, it doesn’t assure you to get a table at the indicated time. Otherwise it would have another star.
The food was lovely. Well cooked and well presented. A main course goes between 22-26€
Also one dessert is enough for two people. 9€
Wine is a bit overpriced, 6€ per glass, but good."
