Reviews Summary

L'Eau à la Bouche is celebrated for its outstanding pizzas, particularly praised for their thin, crispy crusts, fresh ingredients, and generous cheese portions. While many enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service, a few reviewers have reported negative experiences regarding staff attitude and the restaurant's policy on ordering, especially for desserts. The pricing difference between dining in and take-out is also noted as a point of consideration.

"This place serves the best pizza in town—absolutely mouthwatering and bursting with flavor! The dough is perfectly baked, and the toppings are fresh and delicious, making every bite a delight. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, but be sure to make a reservation in advance as it’s always in high demand. Highly recommended! 🍕✨"

Christian Kehr

"The pizza was absolutely delicious, and the service was very nice friendly and attentive. The atmosphere had something really special to it, making the dining experience memorable. My only complaint is the pricing: dining in is noticeably more expensive than take-out, which I found a bit puzzling. Still, it’s worth a visit if you're in the area and craving good pizza!"

deniz alaaddinoğlu

"We entered with low expectations after reading the reviews about the staff and service. Gladly the expectations were exceeded. We arrived at lunch time with no reservation and the staff straight welcomed us and found us a table outside, we choose the Basil pizza and the vegetables one. Amazing!!! ✨ Delicious thin and crispy dough, great ingredients quality.

The decoration is nice too, a mix of prints on the walls, nice old buildings and cool vibes!"

12 Best Pizza Restaurants in Marseille, Picked By A Local Expert

L’Eau à La Bouche’s thin pizza won’t please everyone, but its lovers are numerous. It’s worth the detour on the Corniche, even with the haphazard parking, to eat one on the Malmousque beach boulders as the mistral blows and the sun sets.
