Le Miramar offers a traditional dining experience in Marseille, celebrated for its iconic bouillabaisse and Old Port views. While many praise the quality of the seafood, attentive service, and upscale ambiance, some diners find the prices high and the execution of certain dishes inconsistent. The restaurant is a culinary landmark, particularly for those seeking an authentic taste of Provençal seafood heritage.
"I loved my experience. I tried Bouillabaisse for the first time. The waiters were kind and attentive. The chef sends out a couple of small dishes before hand to try. I thought the soup was amazing. Great views of vieux port."

"We booked lunch at Le Miramar based on a recommendation. The restaurant is in a great location overlooking the port and there’s a traditional feel as you walk in the restaurant. We ordered the Bouillabaisse, again this was based on a recommendation. The first course of soup was richly flavoured, however in our opinion the second course with the fish parts wasn’t good, so we were naturally disappointed. We also had a few tasting morsels of bread with salmon mousse and mussels in tomato sauce which were distinctly average. The customer service is very good though, very welcoming, polite and attentive."
