What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Restaurant La Treille offers a charming atmosphere with stunning views and friendly service, particularly appreciated for its year-round availability and warm hospitality. While the food is generally considered good and filling, some diners found the taste to be just average compared to the spectacular scenery. The limited menu selection is noted, and unfortunately, some reviews highlight very negative experiences involving rude staff behavior, impacting the overall dining experience.
"Such a friendly hospitality: A delicious hot cup of chocolate in a cold January day. This place is open ALL year round!"

"Great omelet and aperol were delicious. Good place for lunch! The views were spectacular!"

"Food was OK, service by the waitress was cool. The worst was the nasty behavior by the hostess or possibly owner's wife. We were two couples and as we only wanted a light lunch, ordered a glass of wine each and wanted to share an entree between each couple. We didn't expect it to be plated separately but then the head hostess came out saying we had to pay an extra 8 euro per couple just to share. We didn't quite understand as it was all in French and she started to take away one set of cutlery and placemat from each couple. We said the extra charge would be fine. Then one order came our completely wrong-not what we had ordered. After an unfriendly exchange they took it back and we could hear the chef screaming angrily as well as the hostess. Very unfriendly and unprofessional. We felt very uncomfortable, ate quickly and left."
