We spotted Cafe Regatta across the road when we were visiting Sibelius Park. The setting was clearly perfect, looking west across Seurasaarenselkä (the harbor) towards Seurasaaren island. As you might imagine, around dusk and towards sunset, it’s a picture-perfect spot.

I had to save the best for last, because this is the most popular Instagram spot in Helsinki and for very good reason!. This is one of the most darling cafes I have ever laid eyes on. The best part is that it’s located along the seashore near the Sibelius Monument!

On our final morning in Helsinki, we woke up early to head to Café Regatta. This lovely lakeside café has stunning views, especially with the morning sunrise (which lasts until about 9 am). It also has a full vegan menu with gluten-free options.

You’d have a hard time finding a coffee place in Helsinki cuter than Café Regatta. Built in 1887 and standing by a lakeside, it’s a Scandinavian hut that’s as pretty as a postcard!. It’s also only a five-minute walk from the Sibelius monument.

Sunset suits the Sibelius Monument – a sculpture of 600 welded steel pipes that resembles a spectral church organ, and the little red Cafe Regatta at the water’s edge close by offers warm welcomes and divine cinnamon buns.

We checked out Cafe Regatta and the Kaisma Museum and many more sites. I had the awesome opportunity to try some amazing cloudberry jams. They were so tasty, I had to buy a few jars to take home with me!.

This one is more touristic, but I'd still consider Regatta a must-see in Helsinki. Cute little coffee place by the sea, right next to the Sibelius Monument. Outdoor fireplace and a large terrace.

If you want to make the trip to Cafe Regatta, it was really cool when we visited last week. Good pastry selection. You can roast your own sausage in the fire pit outside, too.
