"Amazing family authentic italian restaurant...we have been visiting this place twice during our holiday and I can't recommend it enough...the first time we booked a table last minute and the owner accommodate our request immediately even though the restaurant was busy.....excellent service, all the waiters speak more than 2 languages, they make you feel comfortable and pay attention to every single detail...the food was superb, proper italian cuisine, fresh ingredients and wide choice of dished.....they were really welcoming and treat us like VIP....Massimo suggestions on the dishes made our dinner even more tasty and special, he went over and beyond preparing a little surprise for my son's birthday....I recommend this place 100% and we will definetely go back every time we will visit El Gouna...Terry and Massimo grazie mille!"

"After 5 years of visiting Gouna, I finally got to try Zia Amelia.
It’s always been packed every time I passed by, and I usually forgot to reserve. But this time, I got lucky and found a table.
The atmosphere is lovely — warm, vibrant, and the staff are truly excellent. It feels like a lively little corner of Italy, and the energy of the place is what makes it special.
As for the food, I had high expectations — especially with all the hype around their homemade pasta. The dishes were good, but not exceptional. I enjoyed the mushroom pasta, but the Linguine di Mare didn’t hit the mark for me. The Caprese salad was just okay, and the pizza was decent but not unforgettable.
Overall, it’s a nice spot with a beautiful vibe and great service — but the food didn’t fully live up to the reputation for me."
