"Even though it’s one of the most famous restaurants in Cairo, it’s not exactly in the heart of the city. But don’t worry, there’s a big parking lot right in front of it. When we got there, they were super friendly and showed us to our table. I was a bit surprised by the decor inside - it wasn’t super fancy, but it was really unique. You could tell they weren’t trying to be too high-end, but they definitely wanted to create a certain vibe. The food came really quickly, and it was actually pretty salty, just like Egyptian food. They tend to put a lot of spices in their dishes, which is why it tastes so authentic. You should definitely eat it with bread to balance out the flavor. It’s a lot of food for a really affordable price, which is no wonder it’s so popular."
