"What a gem we stumbled upon near Plaza Foch.
Staying in the town for only two days we were restricted by rain. However one clear night we explored and found this hidden gem. Family owner.

The lamb curry and fried sea bass were our targets this night and did not disappoint.
We paired it with one of their signatures wines made by the father of the family.

"What a gem of a restaurant! It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel and we couldn't be more grateful! Short taxi ride (and even if it requires a longer one for you, it's totally worth it!!). The food was next level amazing. We tried the empanadas and the traditional soup (sancocho) for starters. Both dishes came with a wealth of deepness in flavours and textures. We picked the lamb stew and pork for mains (again unbeatable taste) and absolutely loved the plantain cake for dessert. My husband had wine which was equally amazing. We wanted to return the next day for lunch before flying back home but Google said they were only open for dinner, so we had to settle for a mediocre meal elsewhere. I really cannot recommend this place enough! They were super attentive and really seemed to care about whether we enjoyed their food. Which we absolutely did! :)"

We had ceviche, a cuy cooked sous vide which was excellent, and a dessert selection. All with a good local wine.
The staff took very good care of us and talked us through the different dishes.
