On an area of 100 metres you will see more than 200 historical exhibits, two historical ice cream factories and a historical ice cream bar. After learning the ice cream making in Italy, surely Crème de la Crème sells one of the best ice creams in Prague. The secret of this shop is: combination of Czech passion and and Italian craftsmanship of making ice cream. They make there types of ice cream: ice cream from real cream, fruit sorbets, and vegan non-fruit ice cream.

Gelato is one of the best things you can have while on holiday. There are many gelaterias in and around the Old Town square but read the reviews and you’ll find many people calling the gelato at Creme de la Creme to be the best in Prague. I don’t remember what flavor we got (coffee maybe?) but I do remember it being delicious.

If you want to get an amazing craft ice-cream (not that cheap wannabe ice-cream in trdelník) go to Crème de la Crème in Husova street, close to the Old Town Square. The owners learned to make the best gelato from Italian masters and now they serve maybe the best gelato in Prague. And try their cakes and pastries as well!

If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll be in your element at Creme de la Creme. The blackcurrant ice cream was some of the best I’ve had, full of real fruit and more like sorbet than ice cream. We also sampled the walnut ice cream which is another of the cafe’s specialities and much creamier.

At Angelato, most flavours are gluten-free, Creme de la Creme provides a list of all ice creams including allergens on their website, and gluten-free cones are available at both. And if you stop by Puro Gelato, we recommend the fabulous gluten-free waffle with ice cream.

And then it’s ice-cream: both Créme de la Créme and Puro Gelato (the latter probably merging with 360 Pizza) opened their shops in Bubeneč, to loud cheers especially from our 4yo son – we live in the area. And Lunar ice popsicles opened a shop in Vyšehrad.

They sell artisan Italian gelato for the ones who want to taste a more refined product. Crème de la Crème has quite an impressive menu. Not only do they guarantee high-quality products, but they also sell a diversified menu for all kinds of customers.

Walk into their stores in Old Town Prague, New Town, or Vinohrady which are their most famous locations. If you find long lines, be patient their vegan ice cream is incredible and worth the wait. Opt to dine in, takeaway, or order for delivery.

Crème de la Crème: perfect Italian gelato, competes with Angelato and difficult to say which is the better ice cream maker. Choose from 24 different flavours, it is a dream came true!. All fruit flavours are cream based.

The name says it all really, definitely the best ice cream in Prague (and perhaps ever). We stumbled across Crème de la Crème by total accident on our first day exploring and returned another 2 times during our trip.

After spending a year living in Rome doing my Erasmus it is difficult to find a proper “gelato” and in this case, they got it!. I am a regular at Crème de la Crème and they have never failed me.

Doesn’t it make sense that ice cream has to be on the ‘must eat in Prague’ list?!. I mean, it’s ice cream!. Creme De La Creme keeps a long line out the door, but it moves quickly.

Therefore, it is a big, I mean BIG deal that I am saying that the ice cream at Crème de la Crème might be the best ice cream I have ever had.
