On the other side of Old Havana, half a dozen small eateries have cropped up on the pedestrianized street of Calle Chacón, such as the motorcycle–themed Chacón 162, where a Harley once owned by Che Guevara's son hangs over the bar, and the brand-new Antojos which serves traditional Cuban food—a rarity on an island where chefs still often defer to Italian or French tastes. The food and the ambiance at Yarini are outstanding and the backstory is fascinating.
