It’s popular all year round (Zrno Soli is among the few marina restaurants that stay open in the winter), so make sure to book in advance. Frequently lauded as one of the best restaurants in all of Croatia, Zrno Soli is Split cuisine at its finest.

If you’re fond of the sea, Zrno Soli is definitely the place for you. Situated on the first floor of the ACI Marina building, this restaurant boasts a terrace overlooking the harbour with its boats and yachts at anchor, as well as fine views of central Split and the clear blue waters of the Adriatic. Additionally, from grilled fish and seafood risotto to hearty meat dishes and vegetarian options, there’s something to please every palate at Zrno Soli.

Despite being a little difficult to get to, Zrno Soli – which translates to ‘grain of salt’ – is worth the effort. Located at the ACI Marina, west of the Old Town, the restaurant is set in an absolutely stunning location, looking back over the city. It has a very French-Riviera-meets-yacht-club vibe, with a modern international menu celebrating the freshest of fresh fish.

Zrno Soli is another exceptional restaurant that resides in the ACI Marina with views over the Marina towards Split. Since 2018 they have been a Michelin-recommended restaurant and are also included in the Gault and Millau Gastronomic guide. The cuisine is contemporary with a focus on seafood, the service is professional, and they have an excellent wine list.

This is more of a fancy restaurant, so the price point is a bit higher, but well worth it if you’ve got the cash to splash. It’s located on the west coast of Split at ACI Marina – if you feel like a 15-20min stroll, you can get here by following the ‘zapadna obala’ or west coastline around. Otherwise, it’s a 5min car ride.

If you want to dress up and are not worried about paying a bit more, Zrno soli restaurant has fantastic views of the Split marina. Food is innovative and tasty. If you care more about the food than the view – then go to the best seafood place in town: Nostromo restaurant located right on the fish market.
