Barba: I remember discovering Barba with a couple of my study abroad friends - we entered the trendy space, ordered a couple of ice cold Bitter Lemon Schweppes, and their famous octopus burgers.

But it's at what seems the most unlikely place that I discover some of the city's best food - an octopus burger at Barba (BoŠkovićeva 5), a tiny seafood street-food place up a narrow street.

Located inside the Old City, Barba is a popular seafood spot. It’s a small, unassuming place, but don’t let that fool you!. They serve some of the freshest and tastiest seafood in the city.

Barba may be small but its street-food style cuisine punches well above its weight – the burger was absolutely scrumptious. And lemon beers were my new addiction by the end of the weekend!
