Reviews Summary
Sambombi Bistró Local is widely praised for its Michelin-star quality food, creative dishes, and exceptional flavors, often described as food dreams are made of. Diners love the intimate ambiance, attentive service, and the unique, locally sourced menu that changes frequently. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, a few guests have noted occasional issues with specific dishes being too bitter or dry, and some have found the noise level to be high at times.
"It’s a crazy good price for the quality of the food. The server was patient and attentive to my questions. There’s not a single dish that was a failure. Tuna on toast has a slight kick to it. It’s a good starter and could be a good choice to order if you need something you fill you up more at the end of the meal too. Grill chicken and broccoli is simple but flavorful. I would prefer the chicken to be slighter juicer but it’s safer to eat it well done I suppose. Fish with risotto is a must try. The best risotto I ever had in my life. Potato is good. Not a must but a decent choice to share. Fried chicken burger is fantastic. The best fried chicken I ever had. It’s is heavy though without the lettuce and tomato. It’s small but a decent portion I will recommend to share the burger instead of eating the whole thing. It’s a shame to try only one dish here at a time so I came back 3 times. A perfect spot to take a date out too"

"The restaurant is in a great location and they have valet parking so you don't have to walk around El Poblado finding parking. The place is nice and simple. The service was excellent. The waiter was Sebastian and he did great explaining the menue and the food. The food was bad, I am sorry but they have to work on the food. Change the manue asap. We tried calamari and they were too bitter, and overcooked. No body wants to eat a chewie calamari. Arepas with crab was simple, lacked flavor, and it was dried. The fish sauce was also bitter and it had too strong for the fish which was delicious but the sauce ruined the dish. Pork was great, perfect temp, but the side potato's were horrible. For the prices and the location they should provide better food. The standard needs to be better. A local would not be happy paying that amount of money for the quality of food I received. Drinks were also bad. Work on it and I might come back."

"Amazing dinner! We had the salón privado with a group of eight and tried nearly every dish on the menu — each one was top-notch, with incredible flavors and outstanding sauces.
The service was exceptional as well. They brought out each course one by one, thoughtfully matching the pace with the wine we had on the table. Not once did I find my glass empty — whether it was water or wine, they were always on top of it.
An unforgettable night. Thank you!"

I’m sitting at the bar next to two female diners and looking directly into the kitchen when I realize: if you’re a restaurant owner who’s willing to let customers see your private parts, this is a good sign. My kale salad and grilled chicken arrived without wait. Instantly, I noticed something different about the chicken.
