Located in the Yuexiu District within Guangzhou, Dian Dou De (Hei Yuet Lau) is a traditional and popular restaurant, specialising in all-day Cantonese Dim Sum / Tim Sum / Dian Xing. Typically crowded throughout the day, Dian Dou De offers tasty and cheap dishes, wide variety, good service, and a comfortable atmosphere.Ambience at Dian Dou De is comfortable and welcoming. The interior is spacious, and floor layout is linear and organised.

Dian Dou De – which means ‘anything is possible’ in Cantonese – has several branches, but the Liwan outpost is the original and the best of its restaurants in Guangzhou. With a history passed down through three generations of the Shen family, it has become a time-honored brand and an intangible cultural heritage conservation unit in the city. Today, it is a landmark dining brand and a large multi-brand chain with over a dozen branches, each bustling with customers.

The current Dian Dou De was revived in recent years by the descendants of the original restaurant. An all day yum cha restaurant, each one of them decorated in traditional Xi Guan style. Their kitchen pumps out up to 108 types of dim sums, with a mix of traditional and creative contemporary options.
