What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aquí Está Coco is celebrated for its exceptional seafood, particularly the Patagonian king crab, and its unique, story-filled ambiance constructed from recycled materials. While many praise the attentive service and well-curated wine list, some reviews suggest that not all dishes consistently meet high expectations, with occasional critiques on flavor and certain seafood freshness.
"Amazing service. Delicious appetizer, Parmesan scallops…. Noticed one of our neighbors near our table had the prawns and will definitely get
Those next time! Looked delicious and confirmed they were! My
Main entree was the salmon with capers and was moist and just perfect! My friend had the sea bass and was very happy.
They server was fabulous and helped us pick a nice
Chilean wine to go with our meal. Thank you for the great service and terrific meal! Highly recommend!"

"Excellent restaurant! They have lots of fish and other food options. I should have asked that my salmon be cooked a little longer, but other than that, everything was great! The staff are very attentive. The place has a great atmosphere too. Really good desserts too! 😋"
Dave
"This restaurant came highly recommended for its ambiance and seafood, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. While the service was exceptional warm, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The overall experience left much to be desired.
The ambiance was pleasant but unremarkable, and the food was a letdown across the board for our party of four. As seasoned travellers with more than 30 years experience of dining across various countries and culinary scenes, we had hoped for more in terms of flavour.
That said, we did appreciate the well-curated wine selection and enjoyed the desserts, which stood out as the highlight of the meal. However, the cocktails were underwhelming at best. Given the strong reputation, we expected a more memorable dining experience.
Our average cost per person at the table including tips wax $93.00 USD"

Best Dining Bets in Chile
Aquí Está Coco, Santiago (tel. 2/410-6200; https://www.aquiestacoco.cl): This place is wildly popular with foreign visitors, with good reason: The kitschy atmosphere is as fun as the food is mouthwatering. The restaurant is spread over two levels of a 140-year-old home and festooned with oddball and nautically themed gadgets and curios. Arrive a little early and enjoy an aperitif in the cavelike, brick cellar lounge.
