"This is one of the amazing top-rated Café restaurants located in the Puerto Varas. Vegetarians have lots of options. Some of the staffs are fluent in English. Menus are available in English upon request. We visited two times: one for dessert and another for dinner. Both time, Cassis provided perfect satisfaction.
For dessert, we had fruit bowl + ice cream; whereas, for dinner, we had vegetarian salt crepes and sugar crepes. Amazing creative stuff. A must visit Café!!!"

The sandwiches were fine, for a quick stopover lunch and the service pretty quick. Even the coffee was half decent!
Not cheap but you're in a tourist hotspot, so what do you expect?
It served our needs. You might be able to do better in other spots around town, but we were satisfied enough.
Plus, bonus view of the lake and Volcano. Good enough for us! 👍🏼"

"Let me start by saying that the staff are friendly, but unfortunately the service is slow. I found a hair in my sandwich, and although the waiter apologized and offered to replace it, it took so long for them to bring the replacement that I just decided to leave and go somewhere else to eat. My partner ordered the yogi bowl and that was also mediocre and lacking in flavor. It was a disappointing experience
and definitely not worth the money. The only good thing about it is the view of the lake. I went to Mesa Tropera immediately after and the food was great and the prices more affordable. Overall, I rate this place a 2/5 just for the views and the friendly staff."

Cassis Cafe – We were seated on the rooftop terrace which had great views, plus we enjoyed watching firefighters train on tanker fillings. Eric ordered an omelet (which was huge) and a limonada while I opted for for an avocado and ham tostada (that turned out to be a DIY situation) with a glass of Carmenere. I keep forgetting that ‘jamon’ in South America is just deli ham slices, not the delicious goodness of ‘jamon’ in Spain.

We decided to have dinner at Cassis where the only thing better than the food and desserts was the incredible view of Llanquihue Lake. That night we witnessed a gorgeous full moon that rose up behind Osorno volcano. We were scheduled to leave Puerto Varas the next day so we woke up early to walk around and discover the city.
