The corner of Wilhelminastraat in downtown Oranjestad, once the location of iconic hardware store Brenchies, became home to restaurant Wilhelmina in October 2015 and Maroc Restaurant & Tapas in 2016, which later transformed to Mediterranean Restaurant Olivia. In January 2018 Carte Blanche relocated and opened its doors in the same Brenchies building. Here, Chef Ries, the current chef of Carte Blanche serves his 5-course surprise menu, while Glen, maître d' since the opening of Carte Blanche in 2010, provides suitable wine pairings.

Olivia is an authentic Mediterranean restaurant located in downtown Oranjestad. The menu features a real mix of Mediterranean cuisine with dishes inspired from Greece, Italy, Morocco, Lebanon…we were spoilt for choice!. The courtyard setting was also very trendy and romantic!

Open from Tuesday - Sunday from 6 - 11 pm, closed on Mondays. Stylish restaurant in downtown Oranjestad, that opened last year, with a semi-open air tropical patio, serving healthy upscale Mediterranean food. Have not tested it myself yet, but came highly recommended.
