What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise Aruba Experience Café for its charming atmosphere, delicious and unique food, and exceptionally friendly service. Many highlight the authentic Aruban flavors mixed with international influences, and the beautiful setting in a renovated cunucu house. While minor complaints are rare, some found eggs slightly overcooked, but overall satisfaction is very high, making it a must-visit spot.
"Loved our visit to Aruba Experience Café! The staff were super friendly and professional. We got seated right away, and our drinks and food came out fast. Everything was fresh, hot, and really delicious.
The place is really cute and cozy, with a nice vibe, and it was very clean too.
They also sell their own coffee beans, which is a nice bonus!
Such a good experience — can’t wait to come back!"

"This was a beautiful local place to enjoy the best authenticity Aruba has to offer! The atmosphere when you walk in is unexpected! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and had zero wait time to be seated. The service was better than most high end restaurants. We started off with two espresso’s and a Bellini mimosa that was super refreshing. We then tried two yuca arepas - one filled with pernil and cheese and the other with egg/ham/cheese - chefs kiss muaaah! We then ordered the I Am Loyal dish with a side of black beans and it was delicious. 8/10 for me, the eggs where just a little bit over cooked for my liking but it was flavorful! We ended the experience with a mint/ginger tea and it was so good! Highly recommend this place to anyone! We will be back for the croissants 🥐 tomorrow!!"

Aruba Breakfast Restaurants: 10Best Restaurant Reviews
Intimately tucked away in one of the more quiet downtown backstreets, but immensely popular nevertheless. Aruba Experience Cafe and Pattiserie delights its regular guests and newcomers with Dutch Caribbean charm and freshly baked delicacies in this renovated old Aruban "cunucu" villa. Excellent barista-brewed coffee can be paired with flaky fresh croissants, a complete Aruba Experience Breakfast or a Latin American arepa anyway and any color you like.
Aruba Cruise Port • Docking in Oranjestad
The Aruba Experience is my number one favourite brunch restaurant in Oranjestad, and it’s only a short walk from Aruba cruise port. Not only is the decor beautiful- with rattan furniture, pops of colour and tropical foliage- everything on the menu is delicious. The dishes often have a South American twist, with brunch plates including items like arepas, black beans, plantain and yucca tacos, as well as standard items like eggs, avocado or pancakes.
Eating out in … Aruba
But such a change cannot hide the long association between Aruba and the Netherlands, a close relationship that was manifest in the locations of the cafe/restaurants we visited on our first two days, The Aruba Experience and Bistro de Suikertuin, or Sugar Garden. Both are examples of old Dutch cottages, whose thick walls were constructed over 150 years ago, fell into disrepair and have been lovingly restored by determined female proprietors.
