Jamaica-born and Aruba-based chef Oneil Williams brings a blend of Caribbean flavors to San Nicolas at O'Niel Caribbean Kitchen. The restaurant lives up to its motto, “local and Caribbean cuisine, good to the last bite,” with mouthwatering delicacies like jerk chicken wings, oxtail stew, and, my personal favorite, curry lobster. Of all the amazing meals I had on the island (I had many), this was easily one of my favorites.

Right smack in the middle of the San Nicolas Art Walk, O'Niel's is a warm and welcoming eatery that's an ideal spot to get your Jamaican jerk on. Real-deal Jamaican dishes like ackee with saltfish and oxtail with beans are menu favorites, but there are also local Aruban specialties like goat stew and fresh local seafood; vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available. Special events with live music or karaoke are popular.

Before leaving San Nicolas and returning to your abode, Amsterdam Manor, you might think about grabbing a bite to eat at O’Niel Caribbean Kitchen. Located amidst the various murals and street art pieces sprinkled through San Nicolas, O’Niel Caribbean Kitchen serves up traditional Jamaican delicacies that will have you saying “mmm” with every bite. Above all else, I recommend the roast chicken or jerk pork, each of which is coated in authentic Caribbean spices rarely found outside the “yaad.

You won’t find this hidden local gem in Oranjestad, O’Niel’s is located on the Southern end of the island in downtown San Nicolas, also known to locals as Sunrise City. Stop by O’Neil’s for a mouth-water lunch or dinner that will surely hit the spot!. They are known for serving hearty meals that hit the spot, including local dishes such as oxtail, cabrito stoba (goat stew) and fresh grilled grouper and snapper.

Ask anyone around and they’ll tell you to satisfy your appetite at O’niel’s Caribbean Kitchen which serves a fusion of local and Jamaican recipes but most importantly fresh seafood platters – do not leave without trying the fried Red Snapper!. While you’re here, check out “Aruba’s most famous bar” Charlie’s – a hole in the wall plastered with thousands of personal memorabilia from all their visitors.

This restaurant combines the local and Caribbean/Jamaican kitchen and offers a unique menu offering mouthwatering dishes with lamb, ribs and jerk chicken, the latter dish being Kervens personal favorite. O’Niel’s has become a destination by itself in San Nicolas, with people all over the island coming to dine here. Portion sizes are generous, prices extremely decent.

Located at Bernard van de Veen Zeppenfeldstraat 15 in San Nicolas this restaurant is owned by Chef O’Niel who has complied a delicious menu of Jamaican food. We went as a family but there were plenty of people here on date nights. This restaurant has huge portions and we all ordered something different and shared it so we could try a little of everything on the menu.

This black-owned restaurant is often filled with locals, so you know the food is good. Run by Oneil Williams, a Jamaican chef who has been living in Aruba for 20 years, the menu features Jamaica staples like ackee and saltfish, along with local dishes. The saltfish fritters and Aruban fried fish balls were my favorites.

Local favorites like Kamini’s Kitchen and O’Niel Caribbean Kitchen serve authentic Aruban dishes, while Rum Reef Cocktail Bar & Grill offers stunning ocean views alongside delicious seafood. For a more casual experience, Zeerover is a beloved spot for fresh catch and cold drinks.

The girls want to go back again before the end of their trip—a great idea, really, because I would love to show them the street art of San Nicolas and perhaps have lunch at O’Niel Caribbean Kitchen for some authentic local and regional food. I’ll be sure to report.

I didn’t get the chance to try this restaurant because it was closed on Monday, but I’ve heard great reviews about their oxtails. It’s also the local’s favorite restaurant with innovative Caribbean food. Most importantly, always go where the locals eat.

Oneil’s Caribbean Kitchen is located in San Nicolas in the southern part of the island. This energetic, hip Caribbean and Jamaican restaurant is located in the center of town. We enjoyed a great lunch here.

Just across the street is O’Neil Caribbean Kitchen, the city’s best restaurant, serving a menu of classic Aruban dishes from garlic conch to “stamp and go,” a local variety of saltfish fritters.

A meal at O’Niel Caribbean Kitchen, one of Aruba’s only black-owned restaurants, is an absolute must. My family loved it so much we visited twice!. Locals eat here, so you know the food is good.

Or try Oneil’s Caribbean Kitchen, for the best jerk chicken and oxtail on the island. Before the sun hides away, step aboard a catamaran and sail the waters during sunset.

Another spot that combines Aruban and Caribbean flavors with dishes like Jerk Chicken, Ribs, lamb, etc. This came highly recommended but the locals that I met.
