What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Zog's Dogs is a popular Whistler food stand known for its generous portions of hot dogs, sausages, and poutine. While many praise the quick service, tasty food, and convenient location, some find the poutine to be average and the prices high for the quality of ingredients. It's considered a great grab-and-go option, especially after outdoor activities, with a unique toppings bar to customize your meal.
"I love their cheese burger - the meat patty is cooked on the bbq so has a nice smoky flavor. Inexpensive for Whistler. As for atmosphere, it’s a food stand so it is what it is"

"Missed opportunity to convert a nice place at first sight into a decent dining experience
Let’s be clear here, it’s first price frozen food. From the salad to the steak, it’s a shame to price a double cheeseburger at 18$ and 8$ for a (big) portion of cheap fries.
Hopefully, there is a great assortment of sauces that will help you to cover the bad industrial taste.
Don’t go there until they change their food provider."

"Had a nice experience at Zog’s - they were about to close at 5pm (we didn’t know they closed that early) - but they got in a large order for us very last minute, which we so appreciated, as they easily could’ve closed up and said no! Multiple families were all happy with their poutine, sausages, hot dogs and veggie burgers! They have veggie gravy option too for the poutine. Hot, plentiful and tasty! Thank you Zog’s for your kindness, as I’m sure you all just wanted to get home after a busy weekend!! Lots of picnic benches to sit at or round tables to stand and enjoy your food."

It’s close enough to the ones I’ve had in Montreal in terms of flavour (price is another matter, everything here is expensive). Other restaurants will have their own twist and fancy it up, but poutine is meant to be cheap, street food like hotdogs.
