The Mexican Corner, a longtime village favorite, is delightfully warm and in touch with the tequila gods. Don’t forget Fiesta hour between 4:30PM – 5:30PM Monday – Friday, and 3:00PM – 4:30PM Saturday & Sunday.

They’ve worked hard to produce an authentic and healthy selection of Mexican dishes and drinks here. And from 5 – 6.30pm every day it’s just $5 for a Corona, and $8 for one of their delicious margaritas.

We love this Mexican place for its décor and we stay for their margaritas!. While they don’t have a huge range of vegan choices, the one they do have is pretty tasty!. Their ‘vegan’ enchiladas have caramelized winter squash wrapped in fresh corn tortillas, covered in sauce and finished with seared nopales.

Imagine hearing the sound of Mariachi in the middle of a snowstorm when the wind is sweeping down the mountain. In Whistler, everything is possible. Located on the second floor of the Sundial Hotel in downtown Whistler just minutes from the ski slopes is a cheerful, colorful Mexican oasis.

I think this is the best 3-day Whistler itinerary out there because it offers something for everyone, from fast-paced, adrenalin-pumping activities like ziplining and snowmobiling to more relaxing things to do like spending an afternoon at one of Whistler’s stunning lakes.

First: frozen margaritas at The Mexican Corner (Village) which are consistently excellent and always made using double shots of Cazadores Blanco, fresh-juiced lime and seasonal fruits. Their $8 Happy Hour from 5-6:30 p.m. is likely the best deal in the Village.

The Mexican Corner Restaurant: Mexican food with lots of coeliac safe, gluten free options. The menu isn’t marked up but staff seemed to be helpful and clued up when I popped in to enquire. They understood the extra measures required for coeliac diners.

It’s Fiesta Hour at this lively eatery Monday to Fridays from 5-6pm and on weekends from 3-4:30pm. This is when you can sip handcrafted margaritas for under $10, plus flights of tequila. Shots will set you back $6 and Modelo runs $5.

The Mexican Corner ($$) - My favourite Mexican restaurant outside of Mexico, no joke. The food here is authentic, portion sizes are decent and so good. My favourites here are the fresh guacamole, enchiladas verdes and the tacos.

Our daughter has Celiac and enjoyed the steak and chicken fajitas - they were very accommodating of her allergy and said that almost all of their menu can be gluten free!. Everything was delicious!

Rimrock Cafe at 2117 Whistler Road is arguably the best seafood restaurant in Whistler, but it is expensive. Highly rated, and serves good game too, including duck and venison.
