Sushi Village was one of the top places he recommended so definitely a MUST try for us. The sushi were amazing especially the Hotate Nigiri Sushi which we went for a second order. And somehow we ended up with mostly karaage on the side but oh well, they were great with drinks.

This busy, casual, second floor spot near to the lifts has been a Whistler institution for more than 25 years, serving a large menu of fresh sushi, sashimi, and teriyaki dishes. In back, semi-private rooms with rice-paper doors and low tables are available for groups.

The classic and most iconic sushi restaurant is Sushi Village, which is right next to the bike park. In our opinion, you’ll get the best sushi at Nagomi Sushi, which is about a 5-minute walk from the village. You should make a reservation at both locations.
