What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Splitz Grill is celebrated for its juicy, customizable burgers and unique patty options, offering excellent value for Whistler. However, some diners have reported inconsistent quality with stale bread or mushy patties, and a few found the experience disappointing given the hype.
"Gonna be honest I was expecting to be disappointed but I was pleasantly surprised.
Burger tasted great, nice and juicy and full of flavour.
Fried pickles were perfect.
Fries were great too.
All round the perfect meal after a hard day on the hill.
Well priced for whistler too. Great options for drinks.
Would definitely go again."

"Extremely Disappointed – Don’t Trust the Reviews!
I’ve been to Splitz Grill twice before and had a decent experience, but something has seriously gone downhill. Yesterday, I took my family there expecting Whistler’s “best burger,” and we ended up having one of the worst food experiences we’ve had in Canada.
We ordered three sandwiches—we couldn’t even finish half. The bread was stale, the yam and french fries looked and tasted old. I asked them to replace the fries, and the second batch was just as bad. There’s no refund option, and the quality is far below even fast-food franchises.
We walked all the way from the village based on the review scores, but I can confidently say: Don’t believe the hype. This was a complete waste of money. My wife felt sick afterward—honestly, I don’t even think the meat was fresh.
This place barely deserves 2 stars, and that’s just for the outdoor seating. Save your time, money, and health—skip Splitz Grill."

"We stayed over the weekend in Whistler for a race and our hotel was right beside Splitz! Which is also a few meters from the Olympic rings - awesome location.
The food was pretty good, we got burgers for the whole family which were spot on.
Service was good enough, or perhaps professional.
Price: expensive but I guess this “Whistler price” - 2 adult + 1 kids burger + 2x beer + tips = ~$110"
