"Anyone complaining about the food here needs their head checked. We ordered the room service from the Arbutus Room for breakfast, and were blown away with how good it was. The Coastal Benedict was perfectly poached, tender and delicious. Very flavourful hollandaise sauce, crispy potatoes that had just the right amount of crunch. My incredibly picky wife (who barely ate at the restaurants we tried downtown Victoria) finished her plate and stole some of my potatoes. Her bacon was crisp without crumbling into pieces, her toast came with fresh strawberry compote, seriously the food was fantastic."

"Lovely birthday celebration dinner, and we did request a window view - well worth it! Tasty spot prawn welcome bite, garden salad was flavourful and fresh, both sablefish and halibut fish dishes cooked perfectly and we really enjoyed the apple galette. Will be back! Decent cocktail and wine list as well."

"During our stay here, we stopped in for an appetizer and dessert. The complimentary amuse bouche was lovely, and the boar belly starter was fantastic, full of flavour. The rhubarb and elderflower dessert was absolutely incredible! Beautiful presentation, multiple extraordinary complimentary flavours and textures - this is the perfect dessert and I think I'll make an effort to fly back just for this! Service was excellent, atmosphere was lovely. The seats by the window were our favourite to enjoy a nice breakfast as well.
