What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Elisa is celebrated for its exceptional steaks and sophisticated ambiance, making it a top choice for special occasions. While many praise the exquisite food quality and attentive service, some reviews mention minor service delays or find the pricing to be on the higher side for the overall experience. Despite these points, the restaurant consistently garners high marks for its memorable dining experience.
"For a Vancouver-based steakhouse with a fancy dining experience, Elisa is one of the best in the business. We celebrated my wife’s birthday here and were blown away by the lively ambience in the open dining area, the attentive service, and (of course) great food.
The different cuts of steak we ordered each had unique characteristics, and made for a compelling “eat half and swap” deal between the two of us. The mushroom risotto was the standout side dish and along with our salad made for a particularly filling meal …so much so, we didn’t have tummy space for any dessert.
Not to let the occasion pass, our server was incredibly thoughtful and still served us some complimentary sweets, along with a cute candle-lit birthday message. She made us blush (but in a really nice way).
We heartily suggest you book ahead at Elisa for your next special occasion. You’ll bound to have a great time."

"Been coming to Elisa since 2017 and each visit is memorable! My fave steak is the blue dot beef, Prince Edward Island! It has wonderful flavouring and the steaks are cooked perfectly. Ambiance is classy, yet contemporary. Not stuffy compared to Gotham’s for example. Scallops are cooked well - translucent on the inside. Their signature baked Alaska is a decadent showstopper."

"We visited Elisa for the first time to celebrate my birthday. Overall it was a very good meal. One of the better meals we have had in Vancouver. The menu boasts some beautiful Canadian cuts of beef if you are meat lover. I enjoyed a ribeye special and carrots which were very tasty. My partner enjoyed the gnocchi. It looked beautiful, was a bit under seasoned perhaps but meant to be delicate flavours we thought. The portion size was a little small compared to my entire, especially as it was meant to be a meal.
Our server was attentive when she was available. The service could be improved a little bit as there was a long period of time before a wine list was offered and drinks were ordered. By the time she came to share about specials we had been with the menu for a long time. Also a long time after our entrees arrived before we were checked on.
Other than those critiques, a decent experience."
