Reviews Summary

Piano Piano is celebrated for its whimsical and beautiful atmosphere, making it a "vibe" for any occasion. Diners rave about the delicious pasta dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and accommodating family-style recommendations. While many praise the friendly and attentive service, some reviews mention challenges with noise levels and occasional slower service during peak times.

"Such a beautiful spot—loved, loved the atmosphere!
Piano Piano is truly a vibe. The setting is warm, stylish, and perfect for a night out. While the pizza wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, the pasta, dessert, and everything else were absolutely perfect.

Huge thanks to Sarah for the amazing service—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

I’ll definitely be coming back!"

Rafik Guermouai

"I went to Piano Piano with a group and we shared our dishes family style. The food overall was very good and price was reasonable. The pasta were cooked al dente and their famous Neapolitan style pizza did not disappoint. The dessert was also good but not outstanding is my opinion. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The noise in the restaurant was loud and seating was tight."

Clement Chan

"We went to Piano Piano for lunch to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful. It was surprisingly quiet, which we didn’t mind. Dino was our server and he was really great! They gave us a complimentary glass of Prosecco each at the start which was a really nice surprise. The lunch was delicious from start to finish. The bread they served with the burrata was so good, and the salad was super tasty too. The ravioli while only three pieces, were large in size and very flavourful. The pizza had an airy crust and wasn’t greasy. Dessert and drinks were good too, and we would certainly come back again and would recommend to anyone whos wanted to try it!"

Toronto's best Italian restaurants - NOW Magazine

A few years back, Victor Barry transformed fine dining institution Splendido into a playful Italian joint – and the neighbourhood ate it up. Since then, Piano Piano (a riff on an Italian maxim that translates, essentially, to “slow and steady wins the race”) has become a reliable destination for date nights and family feasts alike, thanks to a broad menu of blistered pizzas, pastas, meats and sides that take just the right liberties with classic flavours (designer Tiffany Pratt’s riotously floral interior doesn’t hurt either). 88 Harbord, at Sussex Mews, 416-929-7788, pianopianotherestaurant.com
