"Located in the heart of Jasper, Alberta, the Royal Canadian Legion, Jasper Branch No. 31 offers a delightful dining experience amidst the pleasant outdoor surroundings. The weather was perfect during our visit, allowing us to relish the scenic beauty while indulging in a satisfying meal. The outdoor seating area comprised twelve spacious tables, accommodating groups of 4-6 people comfortably.
Though renowned for their beer selection, we opted for a lighter fare. The Deep Fried Pork with sweet Thai sauce was a mouthwatering delight. The succulent pork was perfectly cooked, and the sauce provided a delightful balance of flavors. The Nachos, generously topped with melted cheese, jalapeños, and salsa, were a crunchy and savory treat.
For dessert, we couldn't resist the apple crumble cone, which was accompanied by a generous dollop of whipped cream. The combination of warm, cinnamon-infused apple crumble and cool, creamy whipped cream was simply heavenly.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff ensured a pleasant dining experience throughout. Our visit to the Royal Canadian Legion, Jasper Branch No. 31 was a delightful culinary adventure, offering tasty bites and a serene outdoor ambiance that perfectly complemented our meal."

"I had an amazing time at The Stand Easy! The atmosphere was relaxed, a lot of historical information hang on the walls. Very welcoming, with great music that wasn’t too loud. The bartenders were super friendly specialy Sue and Karlie..best cocktails I’ve had in a while—especially the Mini Guinness! Prices were reasonable, and the service was fast even when it got busy. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend for a fun night out! Love the people!🥰"

It enabled me also to show solidarity with and remember those Canadian soldiers who served with my grandfather during the Great War.
