My most memorable meal during the trip was at Calcutta Cricket Club.Since I’m generally not into brunch, it says a lot when a restaurant gets me excited about it. Calcutta Cricket Club and Chef Rene Bhullar definitely did just that!. The interior is very unique too compared to traditional Indian restaurants.

Calcutta Cricket Club is one of the best Indian restaurants in Calgary. Not only does it have fantastic Indian cuisine but the interior is absolutely show-stopping. You’re not sure where to look because every single inch if it is covered in beautiful tiling, wallpaper, and carefully curated decor accents.

Other notable winners include Safari Grill as Calgary’s Best African Restaurant, Calcutta Cricket Club for Best Indian/Pakistani Restaurant, Roy’s Korean Kitchen for Best Korean Restaurant, Con Mi Taco taking Best Pop-Up Restaurant, and White Elephant winning Best Thai Restaurant.

I ran out of time to go here and while I’m writing this on the plane home (mostly because I’m getting old and losing my memory – tomorrow it could all be gone lol), I’m deeply wishing that I had more time, or stomach capacity, to eat here. It’s at the top of my list for next time!
