"The food is very good - our family of four had a spaghetti, burger, schnitzel, chicken strips, and calamari. The calamari and burger were best. The price was a bit higher than expected at $70 for four people with two bottles of water and the above food. Of note, anything extra costs extra. Example - we asked for lemon slices for the schnitzel and extra sauce for the calamari. Both cost extra - not much but just for situational awareness. Recommended!"

"We only stopped here for coffee, which wasn't bad. The interior was very nice and clean. Maybe we were just a little disappointed that we had to stir our coffee with a wooden stick instead of a spoon. I wouldn't expect such a thing in an establishment like this, but it's just a small flaw."

Mezza Grill - a real experience from the Orient in the center of Sofia –
The restaurant has cuisine typical of the Middle East and is part of the group of restaurants Social Cafe Bar & Kitchen, on Vitoshka Street, the two Briciole on Angel Kanchev Street and Vitoshka Street. If you pass by Mezza and decide to miss it and not enter because it looks small, it will be a big mistake. If you decide to stay, there is a high probability that there will be no free seats, because people who know it book tables in advance.

Another favourite place of mine is Social Cafe Bar & Kitchen – it is located on the central pedestrian street – Vitoshka. Ignore the outside area and go straight inside or on the second floor – it looks crowded from outside but in reality, there’s almost nobody sitting inside, except during lunch time. I love their food menu and drinks, there are a few seating areas close to electricity plugs and the wi-fi is perfect.

They are a great place to pop in for a daytime drink and do some people-watching on the iconic Vitosha Boulevard. Their outside seating area is for smokers, and they have walls during the winter months; however, they open it up during warmer weather.
