#michelinguide #mic...

Reviews Summary

Diners consistently praise Tanit for its delicious and innovative Mediterranean tapas, highlighting dishes like the steak tartare and grilled octopus. The restaurant's hip ambiance and charming terrace contribute to a great dining experience. While most reviews are glowing, a few mention minor issues with food temperature and, in one instance, a less-than-ideal service experience regarding a found hair in a dish.

"The place was small but one of the best restaurants I have tried while travelling around the world. The place is hip and well designed. They are Michelin recommended as well. The dishes were delicious with fusion of flavour and ingredients. Every dish we tried was excellent and mouth watering. You can feel every ingredient with each bite. The Octopus on black rice was my number one choice. The grilled shrimps were so so delicious in the garlic wine sauce. Make sure to make reservation before going."

"Awesome food and service! Tapas with a Brazilian twist. They didn’t have a table right away and we sat next to the bar then moved to a window table. Cocktails were amazing - recommend Mare Nostrum. Patatas bravas were actually fried yucca slices - an amazing combo. Desserts were also excellent - we were impressed by the tangerine ice cream and chocolate assortment! Highly recommend!!!"

Den Med

"The food was good, some dishes normal and others excellent. Cost x benefit is reasonable, but not great. There are other Michelin restaurants with better sized portions x value than this one.

Finally, there was a hair in my food. No one ever apologized. The waiter simply said by the end of lunch “I removed one of the deserts from the check”… well, let me clearly state something: a hair in my MAIN COURSE plate doesn’t goes away with a 20 reais discount in my meal… that’s ridiculous.

PS: I would not return."
