Reviews Summary
Typica Café Centro is lauded for its exceptional coffee and inviting retro atmosphere, offering a comfortable space for relaxation or work. Diners rave about the delicious pastries and sandwiches. While the ambiance and quality are highly praised, some reviewers note occasional long waits for food and disruptive notification sounds.
"My favourite coffee of all time. And I’m a digital nomad that goes across the world. This coffee has it all. Confortable vibe like home, plug, WiFi, great menu. I go there every week so if you come, there is a chance you see me without even knowing."
Franck Buttazzoni
"We had a very enjoyable experience at Typica Café Centro, particularly appreciating the chocolate croissants, which was truly excellent. The ambiance was cozy and pleasant, making it the perfect spot to wait out the rain.
The service was friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of the café.
The only downside was the repeated and very loud notification sounds coming from the speaker system. This interrupted the music and was quite unpleasant to hear at such volume. Perhaps the staff could ensure the connected device is set to “Do Not Disturb” mode to avoid these interruptions in the future.
Overall, a great spot for a relaxing break in La Paz, with fantastic pastries and a warm atmosphere."
