Le Zinneke📍Brussels 🇧🇪 Knowing I wanted to try great mussels on our trip to Brussels I added this place to our list. It was a little out of the city but worth the trip! With over 60 choices to pick from it was a hard decision but I had the mussels in tomato sauce with paprika and Vince chose the ones with mushrooms, bacon and cream. Both were so different but equally delicious. The portion was nev...

Reviews Summary

Le Zinneke is highly praised for its authentic Belgian cuisine, particularly its mussels prepared in a vast array of sauces, and its generous portion sizes. Diners appreciate the cozy, traditional ambiance and friendly service, making it a memorable experience. While some find the mussel prices a bit high, the quality and quantity, along with the unlimited fries, offer good value.

"Le Zinneke was recommended by a good friend of mine.
We did not know there are 70 ways to cook mussels!
The food was amazing and the portions were huge (we did not manage to finish them).
We had an different tiramisu with speculoos totally worth it!
It is a very traditional restaurant! Staff was polite and pleasant and the service was quick! A must in Brussels"

Angeliki Tsolka

"Good neighbourhood restaurant with very nice service. We liked that they have a happy hour service until 6:30 and then you have to leave by 8:30pm and then all the food is 25% off which is nice. Otherwise I think it’s a little pricey for the mussels at more than 30 EUR even though there are a lot and the fries are unlimited which is very nice. Their specialty is that they have more than 60 sauces that you can choose from but IMO the sauces don’t taste much. Overall I still recommend the place it’s been around forever and good if you need a quick mussels fix"

Bertrand Huybrechts

"Very charming dining environment with friendly service. The mussels were tender, fresh, and absolutely delicious! We tried three different recipes and loved them all! A wonderful experience overall. Highly recommended!"
