What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Zet'joe offers a refined fine dining experience with exquisite, artfully presented French-Belgian cuisine. Diners praise the warm and welcoming ambiance, impeccable service, and the opportunity to experience the skill of Chef Geert Van Hecke. Some reviews note limited food options, particularly for those who don't eat pork, and one diner felt the price-quality balance was not entirely met. Despite minor critiques, the overall consensus points to a memorable and high-quality dining occasion.
"Went here for dinner on our last night in Bruges. Was an amazing experience, the food was delicious & the staff were friendly & attentive (caring for my wife’s gluten free & nut allergies). Was very reasonably priced for a Michelin restaurant & the portions were a good size which isn’t always the case with fine dinning.
Highly recommend."

"The restaurant was decent, nothing extraordinary. The chef, who was also the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and so were the waiters. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. However, the food options were very limited, either pork-based or seafood. The seafood was decent.
I wouldn't recommend it to those who don't eat pork. Additionally, I noticed that one of the staff members would typically open the door for guests as they exited, a common courtesy in a Michelin-starred restaurant. However, when it was our turn, he didn't. While this might seem like a minor detail, the inconsistency in service made us feel a bit discriminated against due to our dietary preferences.""

Chef Geert Van Hecke brings profound skill and thoughtfulness to every dish, with each ingredient precisely chosen and artfully placed. The cuisine is elegant, rooted in Belgian tradition, yet delivered with a modern, delicate touch.
The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, with service that is both polished and warm. A carefully curated wine list complements the dishes beautifully, enhancing the journey without ever overwhelming it.
Zet’joe is a masterclass in subtlety and excellence — a place where every detail speaks of passion, precision, and a quiet pursuit of perfection."
