If you’re looking for a dining experience that blends warmth, flavor, and authenticity, Himal Nepali Kitchen is a must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff who make you feel right at home.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The dal was perfectly spiced and tender—easily some of the best I’ve had outside of Nepal. I also tried the dal tadka mango lassi , which struck a beautiful balance between sweet and savory. Every dish was rich in flavor and clearly made with care.

First, we had a lovely lunch at Himal, a Nepalese restaurant. We feasted on lentil papadums with cumin seeds, chicken in a creamy cardamom sauce, and chickpeas and potatoes in a spicy ginger sauce. We drank mango lassis and ginger-pepper tea.
