"This visit was a happy accident. After walking past the Continental Deli Bar Bistro countless times, we finally decided to stop in late on a Saturday night—no reservation, just curiosity.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, even without a booking, and took the time to help us navigate the menu, which was packed with tempting options.
We weren’t in the mood for a full meal, so we ordered a few small plates to nibble on, and it was the perfect way to experience the variety on offer. Everything felt thoughtfully made, and the relaxed pace was ideal for a spontaneous late-night bite.
The real standout was dessert—a cherry granita that was absolutely exquisite. Light, refreshing, and bursting with flavour.
If there’s one downside, it’s the lighting. The restaurant is quite dark—we needed a phone light to read the menu and could barely see what we were eating. A few table candles would go a long way in softening the mood without sacrificing visibility.
Overall, a lovely, low-key experience with fantastic food. We’re already planning to return—this time, maybe with a booking and a bigger appetite."
