Reviews Summary
a'Mare offers a luxurious Italian dining experience with a beautiful waterfront location and attentive service. Diners frequently praise the tableside pesto, perfectly cooked steaks, and decadent tiramisu. However, some have noted issues with inconsistent seasoning on certain dishes, particularly the lobster pasta, and occasional difficulties in getting staff attention during busy periods.
"From my very first visit to a’Mare, I sensed something unique—not just in the food, but in the atmosphere and the way the team carries themselves. After returning several times, that initial impression has only grown stronger.
One highlight that never fails to impress is the Trofie al pesto, finished with care right beside your table—simple, traditional, and theatrical in all the right ways. Another personal favourite is Chef Alessandro Pavoni’s Cotoletta Milanese: a crisp veal cutlet with grissini crumb, semi-dried cherry tomatoes, rosemary and lemon—elegant yet deeply comforting.
The sommelier team—Guido and Niccolò—are incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, always recommending the perfect wine based on individual taste without ever overcomplicating the process. Their passion is genuine, and their service adds another layer to the dining experience.
Supervisor William runs a tight yet welcoming operation—always present, always calm, and clearly trusted by both his team and the guests. And finally, a special mention to the maître d’, who always greets guests with a warm “Buonasera” the moment you walk in. Combined with the interior— grand palazzos of old-school Italy—you feel momentarily transported to Rome.
It’s the combination of food, service, design, and atmosphere that makes a’Mare stand out. There’s a rare consistency in quality here—each visit feels both familiar and elevated. For that, a’Mare doesn’t just deserve five stars. It earns them, every single time."

"Came here with my husband for lunch whilst they had a special, for the price it was awesome! Beautiful restaurant by the water. The lobster pasta was a bit on the salty side but the steak was perfection. I LOVED the home style tiramisu and could have eaten buckets of it. I had the lunch with the wine pairing and would recommend."

"We dined here when they had a special on so we thought we should try it. We had a beautiful lobster pasta which was delicious. The steak was cooked so well and seasoned exceptionally. In the beginning it did take us a while to get a waiters attention but other than that it was enjoyable."
