Reviews Summary

Bread + Butter is lauded for its exceptional pastries and coffee, with many praising the walnut croissant and the quality of the brews. The cafe's atmosphere is described as cozy and stylish, and the staff are frequently noted for being friendly and efficient. While some find the pastries slightly pricey, the overall consensus is that the unique flavor and high-quality ingredients, particularly the house-made butter, make it a worthwhile indulgence.

"Believe the hype.

The walnut croissant is fabulous. The chicken sandwich is fresh and the coffee is delicious. Seating in the cafe is comfortable, well spaced and there’s a second level for more seating.

I don’t know how they manage it but the walnut croissant is a different level crispy and fragrant with the walnut filling.

As a tourist, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here and the staff were friendly.

Would recommend 100%"

Jonathan Goh

"Ordered 2 white coffees, the morning bun, and the chocolate walnut croissant. Slightly pricey bakes at 8-9AUD per item.

Coffees were the best we had in launceston.

Morning bun is effectively a cinnamon bun, but I thought it lacked a bit of flavour even though the texture was nice. Was also a bit of too much of the same thing.

Chocolate walnut croissant is better! More moist and easier to down. Tastier too.

Came on a weekday morning at about 9am, did not have to wait for a table."

Matt Ho

"This place is gorgeous. The industrial vive is great. Coffee was delicious and the sweet danish well it came a close second to my mothers. Partner had the house crumpets and he was very impressed with their taste and quality."

What was once a retail motorbike store has now made way for a hip bakery and coffee bar. The transformed warehouse gives off an industrial vibe and toasters placed on each table setting add to it's quirky but oh so cool nature.
