Reviews Summary

Malta Indian Restaurant is celebrated for its authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine, with many diners highlighting the tender lamb dishes and generous portion sizes. The service is frequently described as friendly and attentive, contributing to a warm and inviting dining experience. While most reviews are overwhelmingly positive, one diner noted an issue with excessive salt and lack of flavor in their vegetarian and lamb dishes, which they found did not justify the price.

"I had an exceptional dining experience at Malta. The flavours were authentic, the spices perfectly balanced, and every dish was a delight. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal. I highly recommend the Lamb Chops and garlic naan as it was absolutely delicious! This is hands down the best Indian restaurant Torquay I’ve visited. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

From oily fried samosas to rice-based entrees, Indian food can seem like a major minefield. Your strategy: Load up on lean protein. Lentil soup, dal (lentil stew), and chana masala (spicy chickpeas) are all winners.
