Owner Becky Khanthavongsa’s father is head chef and the food is centred around Thai and Lao flavours created from family recipes. Standout dishes are definitely the betel leaf and charcoal chicken, but it’s also the place to come for a really refreshing cocktail.

Zaab in Braddon launched Zaab Station, a little lunch cart out on the footpath. Take away lunch boxes are $8.50 and there are a few curries/noodle dishes to choose from. I haven’t tried this yet but I always walk past the sign!

The menu will change monthly and you can currently get Chicken Chili Basil, Cashew Beef or Garlic Pepper Tofu from 12-2pm Mon-Fri 😍 The first 50 people to get their lunch will also get free iced tea!

I would have said Alice's too, or maybe even Two Sisters (think they replaced Lemongrass?) for takeaway. Zaab, Soi, Kinn Thai are all nice but exxy imo, better for sit-down feasts.
