Reviews Summary
Assembly The People's Pub is generally praised for its vibrant atmosphere, friendly service, and good value for money, with many highlighting the excellent food quality and generous portions. However, some diners have experienced issues with excessive noise and service inefficiencies, particularly with their QR code ordering system, and a few found the food overpriced for its quality.
"Phenomenal local pub/restaurant that fits loads of people and has a welcoming loud buzzing vibe.
FOOD: 10/10 Fresh, high quality ingredients. Dishes are plated up well and there's a variety of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes to choose from, with several really healthy options. The salmon was to die for, as were the steamed vegetables it came with.
Very reasonably priced dishes between $12-28 on average.
SERVICE: Super friendly, accommodating staff who are efficient. They made some dietary accommodations and our meals came super quicky.
ACCESSIBILITY: Plenty of on street parking available and the place is wheelchair, pram and walker friendly.
OVERALL: Would definitely come back, when I'm the area. It's ideal for friends gatherings, Birthdays, events and even business meets with some dedicated quieter areas available."

"I came here after a recommendation from a local colleague.

There were plenty of indoor and outdoor areas to sit and relax.
I would definitely recommend this place."

"Assembly is a lively spot in the heart of Braddon. It feels like a popular choice for locals.
🍴 The burger and chips were excellent – really good quality. Prices are on the higher side, but the portions and taste make it worthwhile.
🪑 The pub itself is spacious, even when busy on a weeknight. It was great to see so much energy, though many tables were reserved, so it’s worth booking ahead if you want to guarantee a seat.
📍 The location couldn’t be better, right in the middle of Braddon with plenty of other restaurants and bars within walking distance. It makes for a great starting point if you’re out exploring the area.
👨👩👧 Family-friendly touches like a kids’ menu and highchairs make it a practical option for parents as well.
Overall, I’d happily come back here again — both for the food and the atmosphere."
