What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Kitchen is celebrated for its exceptional steaks and elegant ambiance, with many diners praising the attentive service and beautiful setting. However, some reviews mention disappointment with specific dishes, including tough octopus and bland tartare, as well as inconsistent service and high prices. While the food quality is often lauded, occasional missteps in execution and value for money are noted.
"Beautiful restaurant in the Casino Complex with several seating options, inside dining, dining on the terrace, at the bar or upstairs for private functions. Staff were friendly and also helpful with both food and drink recommendation. Has a nice view on the of the terrace as well.
The food was amazing and they have a good selection of drinks and cocktails."

"Food was amazing service was amazing
Only disappointment was the price was double what we would pay at meat and wine co or gauchos we had the TOMAHALK shear steak but st $200 a kg especially at the casino and the long weight is not worth the expense. The music was to loud to talk with grandma (they did turn it down a bit eventually) but other than that the food was exceptional then just need to have more weigh options especially over the weekend. Keep in mind this review Is from someone who frequently goes to the high end steak restaurants"

"Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return
Unfortunately, the food at this restaurant really missed the mark.
• The octopus was tough, not fresh, and completely lacking in flavour. It felt like an afterthought.
• The beef tartare was overly salty and incredibly bland. This was actually the first time I’ve ever had beef tartare and not enjoyed it — really disappointing.
• The smashed potato was a scam. It wasn’t smashed, nor was it crispy. It was just a baked potato with some parmesan sprinkled on top — nothing like what you’d expect from proper smashed potatoes.
• The sourdough bread was actually great, but the menu promised whipped butter, and what came out was cold, hard, regular cut butter. Definitely not what was advertised.
Service was good and the staff were attentive, but unfortunately, the food was not enough to bring me back."
