Reviews Summary
Fugazzi offers a sophisticated Italo-American dining experience with a New York-inspired ambiance. Diners rave about the exceptional pasta, fresh seafood like oysters and scallops, and the rich, decadent tiramisu. However, some find the experience pricey and occasionally underwhelming for the cost.
"Very nice place to dine & wine!
Service was outstanding, good vibes & atmosphere, so all round it was a great night out.
Scallops were to die for, Gnocci Fritto was 👌, wood fired Angus sirloin was 10/10 and the Barramundi was ok but not what my wife expected so slightly dissapointed on that dish.
Quite expensive, you would expect that given the location, setting & great service.
15% P/H surcharge ended up being a substantial amount."

"Wow... let me repeat that Wow. What a meal. Service was excellent and Mike was very attentive to our needs and answered all our questions on the dishes. Timing of the service was spot on. We left it to the Chef to serve us food which is a requirement for groups of 6 or more and it was perfect. Oysters were extremely fresh and nicely chilled. The starters were amazing standout being the whipped ricotta and honey with fried ciabatta (we thought that's what it was). All 3 pasta dishes were excellent with everyone picking a different favourite. The pan fried barramundi was so good as was the steak. we were so full we asked them to go easy on the dessert as we don't want to waste food. It is not a cheap meal as it is fine dining but it is spectacular value and I cannot recommend it enough."

"⚠️ Personal Opinion ⚠️
I recently dined at Fugazzi and overall had a lovely experience. The staff were very caring and polite, though since the restaurant can get quite busy, it sometimes took a little while before they noticed us.
The food was a real highlight. The entrée scallops were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. For the mains, the crabmeat pasta was rich in flavour and very enjoyable. The steak, however, was a little too salty for my liking, which slightly took away from the dish. Portion wise, they were both quite huge."

Adelaide, the new contender for Australia's food and wine capital
Fugazzi's front door is a portal to the kind of upmarket Italo-American restaurant where you can imagine wealthy New York mobsters gathering to break bread. It's awash with marble, leather, velvet and striking Fornasetti plates, and Max and Laura Sharrad's menu is a match – a combination of irresistible snacks (I'm looking at you, mortadella and salami finger sando), elevated classics such as ricotta gnocchi with braised osso buco, and show-stopping wagyu tomahawk steaks. Don't miss anything involving pasta – Laura was MasterChef's pasta queen – but particularly the hand-rolled pici with picked blue swimmer crab, chilli and garlic.

Adelaide's best summer alfresco dining
You come to me, on the warmest day of the year, and ask to dine outside?. ” This isn’t verbatim what Vito Corleone said in The Godfather, and nor is it what Fuggazzi Bar & Dining Room would say to any patron wanting to sample its New York Italian-inspired menu over summer, we just decided to exercise our creative licence. Although this restaurant’s main drawcard — aside from the food, which was recently sampled by Axl Rose — are the enchanting interiors, the outside tables offer a humble, pared-back experience.
