Reviews Summary

Bodegón Fueguino is highly praised for its delicious, hearty Argentine cuisine and exceptionally reasonable prices, offering excellent value. Diners rave about the cozy, rustic atmosphere and the friendly, attentive service that makes them feel at home. While the food quality and value are consistently lauded, be prepared for potentially long wait times during peak hours, as the restaurant is very popular with both locals and tourists.

"Cannot recommend this place enough. Food was DELICIOUS, one of the best meals I've had in south america and it was so reasonably priced compared to everything else in Ushuaia/patagonia in general. It gets very busy but staff were still super friendly despite working very hard!"

Sarah Beasley

"Very popular place during dinner time with what looks like a line often. The food was good, got the lamb and it was tender for most of it and quite good with good portions of food. Left feeling quite full afterwards. Would recommend lunch where it can be busy but no real wait time."

Steven Lin

"Loved this place so much that we visited it twice in a day! and probably will come back twice the next few days. We ordered their cordero, in different plates, and it was delicious in the different ways. The service is great and prices are very reasonable, but If you asked me, their pricing it’s a steal!

Tip: come late for lunch or dinner (13:00 to 14:00) or after 21:30 til 23:00 and the lines will be shorter, if any. At least during their winter."

Restaurants in Patagonia

A mustard-yellow pioneer house that lights up the main street, this traditional eatery is driven by its ebullient owner Sergio Otero, a constant presence bustling around the bench seating, making suggestions, and revving up his staff. Sample the picada plate (king crab rolls, Roma-style calamari, marinated rabbit) over an artisanal Beagle Beer—the dark version is the perfect balm on a cold windy day. Lamb dominates the mains, and the emphasis is on hearty rather than fashionable.
